Arrival at Sofia Airport and transfer to the hotel.
If the flight schedule allows, enjoy a guided walking tour of Sofia’s city centre, including St. George Rotunda (4th century), the National Archaeological Museum, Ivan Vazov National Theatre, the Russian Church of St. Nicholas, Parliament Square, and the impressive Alexander Nevsky Memorial Cathedral, home to one of Bulgaria’s finest collections of icons.
The tour also includes a gastronomic experience, during which guests will taste the traditional Bulgarian pastry banitsa together with the guide. Check-in at the hotel and free time.
In the evening, welcome dinner at a traditional restaurant with a Bulgarian folklore performance.

Departure for Plovdiv. Guided tour of the Old Town, where visitors can stroll through its charming cobbled streets, explore the remains of the ancient city walls and the Roman Theatre, admire the beautifully preserved 17th- and 18th-century Revival houses, visit the Church of Saints Constantine and Helena, the Ethnographic Museum, and the Hindliyan and Balabanov House Museums.
Continue to Bachkovo Monastery, the second-largest and second-most important monastery in Bulgaria, considered the country's most beautiful monastery after Rila Monastery. In the afternoon, return to Sofia. Overnight in Sofia.
Departure for Rila Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the largest and most important of Bulgaria's approximately 120 monasteries. Built like a fortress with two entrances, it was founded at the beginning of the 10th century by the hermit St. Ivan of Rila. The only surviving structures from that period are Hrelyo's Tower and the Monastic Kitchen.The visit begins at the monastery museum, where visitors can admire ancient icons, Gospels, silver reliquaries, liturgical objects and many other valuable artefacts.
In the afternoon, return to Sofia. Free time for shopping. Overnight in Sofia.
Free time until transfer to Sofia Airport for the departure flight.
