Come and laugh together in Gabrovo

If you have never heard of Gabrovo, it is good to know that it is the Balkan capital of humor and satire. The city is famous for its international carnival of laughter, which this year will be held from 17 to 22 May.

The beginning of the celebration will be opened with a solemn and prayer for prosperity, as well as other fearful initiatives. Among them is "Draw Gabrovo", thanks to which the city will be dotted with colors and children's laughter.

The 25th Gabrovo Biennale will be opened on May 20, which will give you the opportunity to visit three touching exhibitions. The theme is "Saving money" and the works include 1100 paintings from nearly 650 artists (77 countries). Three exhibitions will be organized - with caricature; with contemporary art and one exhibition curated by the artist Olav Westfalen under the title "Sensitivity Training". An impressive laser show has been prepared for the evening.

But this, of course, is not all, because on May 22 the carnival continues with the festival "Street" on the street "Radetska" - a colorful and crazy recipe for happiness, made with love, magic and music. In the next few hours, the expected Big Band parade awaits you on Vazrazhdane Square.
