Your tour begins with an overnight stay in the capital city of Sofia. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be taken to your hotel to check-in. A tour of the city's main landmarks including the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Holy Sophia Church and the Russian Church of St. Nicholas the Miracle Maker concludes your stay.
The quaint town of Vratza is your next destination before you visit two caves - Ledenika and Magura. Magura Cave is of particular interest due to remnants of prehistoric life dating back to the early Bronze Age and early Iron Age being found in the area. The day ends along the Danube River in the town of Vidin.
After a tour of Vidin, the dazzling Belogradchik Rocks and Belogradchik Fortress are next on your travels. The tour continues to the town of Chiprovtsi, populised for its carpet weaving heritage, and naturally the Museum of Carpets before returning to the capital.
Your trip will conclude with breakfast at the hotel before travelling to the airport for your departing flight.
